The violet Lights Project

Bring together the Schools.
The idea was simple. Assign 8 teams of Tisch students to the different schools at NYU, to showcase the most esoteric and interesting projects going on around campus, in a flashy, modern form: Projection Mapping.
It was a pitch for class, which quickly reached the school's Public Affairs administration. NYU commissioned our work with a five-figure budget, as a part of President Andy Hamilton's Inauguration.
After half a year of managing nearly 100 involved members, we installed two projectors capable of throwing 60,000 Lumens of light onto the Stern School of Business over Gould Plaza, stitched together the 8 projects and created the first-ever 7-story Projection Mapping Installation created by Students.
